What a Journey: May 2009
http://mcfeesgirl.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 05, 2009. April was full of fun, friends and family. Oh, and don't forget BIRTHDAYS! We started the month in a cabin in the woods (by the window a little man stood.la la) with our great friends the Lazars. We were so happy that they made the trip to WV and that we got to get together with them again so soon after spending our 2 year family day anniversary just a few weeks ago. And as I type this tonight, I am even more SO over the rain that has nearly washed us away this week. Maya was thril...

What a Journey: October
http://mcfeesgirl.blogspot.com/2009/11/october.html
Sunday, November 01, 2009. She spent (and is still spending) lots of time drawing and coloring. Here is a family portrait by Maya. And here is her holiday drawing with a bat, bunny, her name and "ear microphones", hee hee. We busted out the ol lava lamp for Maya. After being home for a while we were really searching for entertainment. Finally feeling nearly 100% we were able to get outside and enjoy some of the beautiful fall days. Playing and working! Maya's very most favorite of all holidays! Tonight f...

What a Journey: October 2009
http://mcfeesgirl.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. Oh, I am so far behind! Now that those words are out of the way I am going to try to catch up. Let me see if I can remember all the way back to the beginning of September. It seems like forever ago. As I look at these pics with green trees and grass and us wearing summery clothes it just doesn't seem possible that it was just two short months ago. We started September with a new adventure.preschool! As if they aren't every other day, ha! Then we came home and Maya got sick....

What a Journey: December 2008
http://mcfeesgirl.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 08, 2008. Mike said to me today, "You need to start taking more pictures". He's right. I've been seriously slacking on the picture taking lately. We were busy in November with getting new hardwood floor upstairs and painting. We are still busy in December with it all. But it's so worth it. Our new floors are beautiful! And so is this gorgeous girly sitting so nicely on the new floor to show it off. Maya has moved on from the cheese face for pictures to the sad face. Pretty sad, huh?

Little girls in tutus has to be one of he cutest things ever. Maya loves her new princess dress from Molly! This was our home away from home for the weekend. We ha...

What a Journey: October 2008
http://mcfeesgirl.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2008. We stop and spend the night at Aunt Judy and Uncle Chauncey's house in Chesapeake on the way down and it really makes the trip so much better. We can get up an leave at a leisurely pace and still get there with plenty of day to spare. Judy gave Maya a princess pumpkin carving kit so we had to stop at a produce market and get a pumpkin to carve. I loved seeing this tiny strip of land surrounded by water on the Garmin. Notice the big ol' red welt on Maya's cheek? We had a great da...
