Here you see my first ever sombrero cake! I have to admit, it was delicious! I could not have done it without the help of my two friends, and master bakers, Julie and Dennis, who came to my aid with recipes and construction tips. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://hipchickquiltgirl.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 08, 2006. Bunny, Bears, and Butterflies. At last, the quilt is finished! It was truly a labor of love- took about 10 months, for most of which the quilt lay idle. Here's a glimpse. You have to hold it and touch it to really appreaciate how awesome it is. I hope our niece likes it. We're giving it to her next week, as a birthday present. She'll be two at the end of the month. :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Hip Chick Quilt Girl. Motherhood and Apple Pie.
