More of R's Story. After court, Ann and her family returned to MA, leaving R. here. They were unhappy with the services provided by their attorney, and of course, they were unhappy with the decision of the judge. R. on the other hand, never seemed happier. She settled down considerably, and finished second grade, doing very well, considering all the stress of the year. R was sitting in the back seat of Grampi's car, wearing his straw hat. November 16, 1990. R was born to Ann and Lee at 11:19 AM on Nov. 16, 1990. Ann was living at Edwards AFB with her mom and stepfather while Lee was in boot camp for the US Navy. Big brother Matthew celebrated his second birthday on Nov. 17. What a birthday present!

Two hours later, I drove up in Oma s driveway to pick up the kids and their stuff. I was amazed at how much of the stuff had been MINE!
