Membership information for bushwalking trips in Cairns. Join up for great walks. Walks and other activities are held on weekends throughout the year. Day walks are held on Sundays but overnight walks and car camps are planned about once every two months and on long weekends. Overnight walks and camps are generally open to members only. Preparing for Bushwalking and Hiking in Tropical Conditions. We think that matching your fitness level to the grade of the walk is the best recipe for an enjoyable walk. If you can do the Blue Arrow circuit walk in the Whitfield Range Conservation Park in 2.5 hours or under, you should be able to manage one of our easy or moderate walks. The club is an incorporated not for profit group. Public liability insurance is carried. No smoking during a walk. Walks are generally unsuitable for children under 12.
