Wednesday, June 22, 2011. On June 4, 2011 we welcomed Lucy Leola Rose into our little family. Why couldn't they just break my water and let me sit up the previous night? Oh yeah. the doctor wanted his beauty sleep.). Our Little Lucy was born at 2:36pm on June 4! She weighed a whopping 7 lbs 11 oz (pretty big considering I was only supposed to be 37 weeks and 1 day pregnant! She calmed down right away and spent the first hour and a half of her life just happy to observe the world around her!
