Sunday, 23 November 2008. Continues to be a focal point of our activities with almost 100 young people coming every week to Starbucks on the Cambridge Retail Park. Recent weeks have seen sessions on 'How can I make the most of my life? And 'How can I be sure of my faith' with an irresistable atmosphere filling the venue as young people get the chance to explore the Christian faith. Our recent Away Day. Brought 85 young people together for a programme of teaching on the Holy Spirit, and 2 young people.

Sunday, 23 November 2008. Worship Training Day Announced! Cambridge and District YFC. Will be working with EngageWorship.org. To bring you an exciting training event this spring! Bringing together young musicians from all over Cambridge, Engage the event will take place on Saturday 21st March at St Barnabas Church. The programme will feature specialist instrument workshops, input and inspiration for worship leaders, and of course lots and lots of top notch music! Sam and Sara Hargreaves.

Monday, 28 April 2008. A massive thanks to everyone who came along, and especially those who brought desserts to 'Just Desserts' - the AGM. Live music from the Get Up Forward created a funky vibe, and Jim presented the vision for YFC's expanding work in secondary schools. Praise God for the faith and love evident in Stuart and Wendy, leaders and servants of the gospel. New Life at the weekend! YB4God - 1st Birthday. It really did feel like we'd come a long way! Thursday, 11 September 2008. This year's Christmas Ball will be given a Pirates of the Caribbean theme! In what is traditionally the biggest Christian youth event of the year, young people from all over the district will enjoy a sophisticated evening of entertainment at St Andrews Street Baptist Church on Saturday 20th December. A scrumptious buffet, non-stop dance floor, cinema, inflatables and many pirate themed attractions will ensure a swashbuckling night to remember! Tickets on sale soon!

Monday, 12 May 2008. Ooh Aah Radio Star! BBC Radio Cambridgeshire contacted us recently wanting to know all about Hope Revolution! Jim went into the studio for a Sunday morning interview talking about Schools Challenge. Host Catherine Carr was keen to know more about this summer's event and promised to invite us in again nearer the time. The youth band from All Saints Church Milton, our new team was offocially commissioned for the year ahead. This year's yfcone team comprising Mark Watson.
