Nice to Meet You. Ruby, rugged-up against the Winter cold! Here are some shots I took at a circus as part of the bris festival. Here is the corner of the wash-basin - a response to those who post photographs of toilets! This "Queensland Roar" player shows remarkable consistency in technique in his corner-taking. Looking Up, Looking Down. I love this: Little People. It's a bit like the little animals which was very cool. National Library of Australia Adds Betties to Collection. Charlie B" by Kerry Baylor.

Struck . A Second Ephemeral Shot. This is taken with a "broken "digital camera. I don't know how long the camera will last, the results a very random, so I will make the most of it before I give it a decent burial. I saw this on the way home from a party on a rainy night. I passed it so quickly I didn't know what I had photographed until I saw the image on the screen. I am making a very post modern contribution for no photo . do you like it? You Don't Get Much More Ephemeral Than an Ice Cube in Summer.

The kitchen scraps go in the compost, rather than waste them. Following the decision to found the federal capital of the Commonwealth of Australia at the present site of Canberra, a foundation stone was laid on Capital Hill. Many years later it had to be moved to make way for the new Parliament House. I hate that show "Two and a Half Men" and consider it to be a HUGE waste of time! A Lawyer, a Car and Two Friends. Image below is after tone-mapping. Waste Bins: Symbol of an Affluent City? I was recently g...

Green Church, Orange Sky. World Toy Camera Day 2007. We were at the St Thomas Anglican Church and graveyard at Carwoola (very near Captains Flat). This is a Holga shot with Fujicolor Pro 400 and cross-processed with E6. I'm still trying to figure out why the bright sunny sky has turned red, but I love it! Kind of spooky and evil looking. Just desserts for the wicked chocolate! A Waste Bin of Flowers. World Toy Camera Day 2007. Mine, Mine, Mine. World Toy Camera Day 2007. The Captains Flat mine site is an...

I took my Holga for a drive and found some birds flying around and above the Governor General's house. I took this photo as the sun was falling and used the bulb setting and, of course, cross processed the film. I am also very excited that my pinhole camera has finally arrived. I'll be taking lots of photos with it soon. I like abstract images of cars. This is the grill on our Mazda. Zoom Zoom! The glass-maker is transforming realities. And I to my motorcycle. Parked like the soul of the junkyard. I went...

Here is another attempt with the pinhole Camera — looks a bit like an unfinished watercolour to me! Ed Whalan: Beyond Border Town. Congratulations to Ed Whalan, whose first solo show opens tomorrow night at 6pm in the Huw Davies Gallery at Photoaccess. Given that Ed has been involved with Photoaccess for the last decade as a board and staff member, tutor, mentor, advisor, event and exhibition co-ordinator, curator, dog wrangler and booze quaffer, this event is going to be huge! The effects of bathing in a solution of Kryptonite! Documentary at Verve Photo. I have found a cool new website, Verve Photo. It's documentary style with lots of great links. What's Your Favourite Camera? So, what's your favourite camera at the moment? My Holga Micro 110 is currently my weapon of choice. It's small, fun and no fuss. I'd love it even more if it had a "B" setting but, hey, where would that fit on a 5cm camera! Bilora Bella Does Byron Bay. Wired for Photographic Competitions. Hmmm the theme...
