The Pinhole Thing by Cameron Gillie. April 21, 2015. 8212; csgillie @ 9:13 pm. Here’s a series of three new prints from the Kentucky trip with the sandpaper and shoe polish post processing applied. Yup, that is literally sand paper etching and black shoe polish applied to the negatives before the scan. Turned out to be a nice photo from Myakka State Park last year that I had never scanned before. Yes the Taxona is an East German camera made in the 1950’s and has a 24x24mm image size. Fun to shoot with a 35mm again and it’s nice to see the grain of 35mm Tri-X again.
