Friday, November 28, 2008. My Mother In Law's Buttons. I've had these buttons for years- my m-i-l produced hometown plays, and did everything- even the costumes! These were some of her buttons, I want to do something with them, but don't want to mess with them- what a dilema! Aren't they beautiful, though? And REALLY vintage- still in the same box! Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Tonight, I'm just weary. And not a good weary! Took hubby to the eye dr today, and on the way, the steering wheel was pretty much torn out of my hands, twice- I though I'd hit something or was having a flat tire, then - -see police and sheriff cars all over the place, lights were out- get to dr- aha- -earthquake! Came home, did dinner, picked some more stuff up, and then just said to myself- to h*ll with it, I can do it later. Just pretty depressing, but tomorrow will be better.

Sunday, September 18, 2011. I was 'invited' to sell my beadweaving and altered goodies at the school carnival, where the twinnies attend- -but- my goodies aren't really the best sell at a carnival! The girlies really wanted me to do it- so, of course, I did! Back to my table at the Carnival- my daughter ( the auntie) took pictures of my table- I really should have had two- but since I only sold one item- I guess lugging 2 tables would have been a waste of energy! Table looks good Marilyn!

Sunday, August 24, 2008. Married 45 years ago- -today! It was a rainy day in PA- got married, had a tiny wedding- small meal at a hometown restaurant and left for CA in the same day! I can't believe it's been that long- well, some days, I can! Sunday, December 23, 2007. Baking and wrapping and a partridge. My newest on etsy- -. 2 days of inhaling sugar fumes will do that to ya! I just put up a new amulet bag on cigarboxbeads at etsy and a tote bag/purse from kids old jeans, up on suchandsort- -here they are- and then I have to go clean up the kitchen some more- -it ain't so jolly out there! This was a very labor intensive creation.but with Robin's help.I succeeded.sort of. It's a soldered piece, a locket with hinges soldered on two sides.that was my most difficult part.my old fingers just don't work the way they used to!
