Don't get me wrong, we've had a fantastic summer but I do miss my quilting time! I have finishes two and three of the summer to show you. First, another table runner. I was asked again this year to donate a quilt for our local Hospices' fundraising auction. I didn't give myself a lot of time to make the quilt so this pattern. Fabric is What a Whirl by Benartex. I love the different prints in this line. The panto Splat. Was a perfect compliment. I love how this pattern uses a layer cake and a wee bit of yardage. Yesterday was my mom's birthday. I saw a quilt a few months ago that I wanted to make for her. I gave her the fabric requirements so she could pick the fabrics from her stash and I started sewing. This is such an easy and fun quilt to put together! The pattern can be found here. I love how the quilting pulls it all together. I debated about what to use for the binding.
