Thursday, December 25, 2008. Camping, queues and monkeys! Just returned from St Lucia - still my favourite holiday spot in the country. We spent 2 weeks in a tent in Sugarloaf camp - right at the mouth of the estuary. By the way, I think the people you see standing at the side of the eastuary in the distance are brave, what with all the crocodiles and hippos in the water. The monkeys are an extreme nuisance - don't leave food in your tent. They will even tear open mosquito netting to get at the food.
