Friday, January 28, 2011. Surprise: I GOT INTERNET SET UP in my room! Finally) It's day 22 of my Paris adventures - which means I've gone 3 weeks without internet in this day and age. Ok ok, I know what's in high demand: pictures of my room. Here they are:. The door-side of my room: with its little kitchenette, mirror, and coat-hangers. Hostel room sink: decent. Hostel room: 4 girls, 8 suitcases, 10 days, and a heck lot of stress = not so good. My first Metro (subway) ticket! And of course had to go in!

Thursday, March 17, 2011. Sleuth of Pictures and ROUEN! Sorry for the long break! School has been increasingly demanding of my time, and I also decided to make an excursion! Part I - More of Paris. I'm taking a class offered by my program (so whew, it's with American kids, even though it's still taught in French by a French professor) called the History of Paris. It's my favorite class! Located in the 5th arrondissement, it's the famous Pantheon :). I told Bryan - "I can see why people are religious!

Tuesday, May 3, 2011. The wonderful city of boats (Venezia) and the meh city of what used to be (Roma). First off, GERMAN trains are exactly on time. SPANISH trains are exactly on time. ITALIAN trains are never. I repeat, NEVER. On time. Here was the only time we missed a train. Clearly the Italians were used to this, because when we finally arrived in Milano a full 40 minutes late, the guy at the info desk told me that it was "no problem! Just hop on the next train! This would never stand in Switzerland.
