Life on the Road. Monday, July 14, 2008. This past week in Ketchikan I had the opportunity to go snorkeling. We wore pretty thick wet suits, gloves, boots, and a hoodie.only our lips were really exposed to the cold water.so it wasn't too cold. I saw so many sea stars (starfish) it was ridiculous. Life on the Road. Monday, May 05, 2008. To say goodbye to Mexico I got up really early one morning (6am) and watched the sun rise as we were pulling into Cabo San Lucas. Life on the Road. Tuesday, May 09, 2006. I'm on a roll! So yesterday a few of us decided to stop sitting around on our days off, so we walked downtown and went to the botannical gardens here in Rock Island. We were thinking it would take an hour or two.ummm.maybe 20 minutes? Picture is of the pretty spot.we're proud of ours guys, they almost look straight!
