February 27, 2009. I love these "Spring Break" days. I know that winter is from from over here in NE, but these kind of days - the days when the sunshine heats up your back - are my favorite. March 23, 2009. Beginning the count down. I am starting on the official training regimen for this years' big race - the covered bridge 1/2 marathon in June. Despite this weeks many obstacles - my freakin' toe still hurts! March 2, 2009. Yikes, it is hard to think about training outside on a day like today, it snowed 10 inches of snow last night! Today might be a good day to make friends with the treadmill. I haven't tried to run inside since I hurt my toe, and even before that I wasn't very happy at treadmill running, but on a day like today there is really no choice. August 25, 2008. The wonderful summer is winding down at Teddy's house. We had one last vacation with M and Abi, which turned out to be a lot of fun,. M hadn't been hiking in the white mountains in 20 years and it was so nice to be able to get back up on the mountaintop with her and allow her daughter to experience the fatigue of a long climb and the joy of the summit!
