Saturday, July 28, 2012. We had pack meeting the night of the 24th, which went well. I managed to coordinate 6 peach cobblers and 3 batches of homemade vanilla ice cream. (I am the cub committee chair.) One of my den leaders texted me that they were the best refreshments yet! And the boys were anxious to get home to do this:. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. I wish the entire summer could be like this first long weekend. From the time the boys got out of school on Thursday, all the way through Monday, things were heavenly. We had completely beautiful, amazing, unusually cool weather on Saturday and Sunday, and it was only about 100 on the other days. Here's the rundown on our fun weekend. It will be a fun summer. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. My Baby Started School! After a fairly quick and pain-free round of testing as soon as he turned the required 2 years and nine months old, Roland was accepted for the special needs preschool. His class is pretty much like a regular preschool, but extra focused on speech, which is the ONLY thing wrong with my perfect baby. (You get the sarcasm there, right? This all means that on January 3rd Roland started preschool! A little shy posing for pictures on the 1st day.

Wednesday, June 6, 2012. To Swim or Not to Swim. So the 5 and 6 years old lined up - Emmett was in good company with almost a dozen friends from the ward. He jumped to the front of his line and when they said go, he jumped in without hesitation and swam all the way across the pool without stopping or holding onto the lane lines. I was so proud! Blake, Lori, Ethan, Sam, and Ryan. Monday, April 25, 2011. I am so smart, s-m-r-t. The other day as we were driving down the road with the boys, we were commenting on how smart they all are. (We really are good parents! Sam was telling Ethan: "you are a genius. You are way smarter than me. I don't even know the first letters in pi.". Ethan was about to start telling him the numbers in pi, when we stopped him and said no just say thanks. Ryan with out thinking too much about it said, "it starts with 'P'".
