Flattop Mountain

Flattop Mountain, Hallett and Taylor Peaks. Dave and I ascended Flattop mountain in order to get to Hallett and Taylor peaks. We skipped Otis to do Taylor. This quickly passed and went on to Glacier Gorge. Hallett peak is pretty popular, so I'd skip it on the weekend. You'll have Taylor to yourself though. Instead of backtracking we descended down Andrew's Glacier making the hike around 13.5 miles. Halett peak from Bear Lake. Looking towards Long's peak. Dave on top of Hallett. video.

We started spring break off in King's Canyon and Sequoia National parks. The weather was great, and we had a terrific time spending the rest of the week at Auntie Mae and Uncle Jerry's house.
