He woke up on the morning of his birthday and told me he was really glad he was five now because it was hard to hold down a finger for four. I told him he actually didn't have to hold up any fingers and could just say the number, and he has really latched on to that idea. :). Monday, October 8, 2012. Addilyn turned one this last week. Over the past several weeks I have been working on getting her baby book finished. I decided to go with a digital book, and 71 pages later, I have her entire first year contained in one book. I am hoping this works, but here is the link if you are interested in seeing the book. Monday, January 30, 2012. The girls were looking extra cute and happy yesterday before church, so i pulled out the camera and took some quick pics of them. I love these two! Monday, April 23, 2012. Addie is 6 months! I can't believe that Addie is already 6 months old. She is such a joy to have as a daughter and I wanted to just write down some of my favorite things plus some milestones for her. At her 6 month appointment, Addie weighs 16 lbs 10 oz. Lillie went to the appointment with me and weighed in at 28 lbs. It won't be long before they are about the same. :). She will eat anything that I give to her and like it. She is definitely a better eater than Lillie was/is. Creat...

Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Music to My Ears. These two love to play on the piano. Whenever either one of them hear someone on the piano, the immediately need to come check it out. Lillie tries to help me teach lessons by telling my students to play their "sharks" (sharps), and will ask them, "Where's the D? The other day, my girls were being so sweet and playing the piano together, and I just needed to capture the moment. I love that they love music. Aww your girls are so dang adorable! Saturday, November 28, 2009. Wow Been awhile since we posted. I thought that while we were living with my parents for a few months we'd have more time, but it seems to be just the opposite. We had a wonderful Halloween (and I'll post a few pics later when I'm on the right computer) and a really fun Thanksgiving. So where is the balance? Tuesday, December 8, 2009. The Dinosaurs are Dead. Yesterday, I had a little conversation with C that went something like this:. C: I had a dream about dinosaurs. Do you bemember. They were in my room. Me: Do you know that there aren't any dinosaurs anymore? They lived a long, long time ago, but then they all died and all we have now is their bones. We can see pictures people drew of them, but we can't go to any zoo anywhere and see any. C: The dinosaurs are dead? C: Did they go to live with Jesus?
