I have never entered one of their contests before, but when I saw this week's theme: head, shoulders, knees, and toes (no faces), I knew immediately what pic I would choose! I was having a short Valentine session with my daughter when she began to "sneak up" on me. I loved the way her knees were bent as she slowly came upon me. I quickly focused on her feet and snapped a couple. This was the last one before she "got me"! Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Last photo was the winning shot.

It was a lot of fun meeting other photographers and shooting just for practice. The leader of the walk picked her favorite pic of all submitted photos from the day and received a gift certificate from the sponsor. I was shocked when a few days later I found out I had won! The original plan was to get some shots of Aleah for her 1st birthday, but mom decided she needed some new ones of all of them.
