JACK SHEEDY'S DIXIELAND BAND Gambler's Blues
This is a great old version of Gambler's Blues (St James Infirmary) by Jack Sheedy's Dixieland Jazz Band. I have a few other Sheedy songs on 78's, but they are the more trad jazz. This is a bit different and really fun. Click the image below to download the song. This is in MP3 format and is about 250k so it might take few minutes to load, especially if you have an old 56k modem connection like I do.

HOW OLD IS MY MONOPOLY GAME? EARLY MONOPOLY GAME BOX DESIGNS
CLICK ON A GAME BOX. In 1935, Parker Brothers (PB) bought the rights to Monopoly from the 'inventor', Charles Darrow. This included Darrow's inventory of game parts. This included a small number of the No 9 long box, very rare today. The phrase A PARKER TRADING GAME was added to the box tops in 1937. Parker Brothers had an ...

UNIQUE ANIMAL EXPO AND PET FAIR - HILLSBORO, OREGON Feb 24-25, 2007
Unique Animal Expo and Pet Fair. February 24-25, 2007. I went to the pet show today and there was a great crowd! This was my very first show of this type. Who knew there would be so many people interested in Arachnids, reptiles, and goats. I met quite a few interesting people and critters. The pictures below highlight the critters, mostly. One nice lady had a couple large millipedes making babys so I photo'd them for her (see below). With questions or comments. CLICK IMAGES FOR ENLARGEMENTS.

MY TARANTULA FARM
CLICK IMAGES TO GO TO EACH SPIDERS PAGE. These hairy little guys arrived today at 10:18am via DHL Overnight Express from Oklahoma City. Bought them online from Eric Tolles. Each is about 1 1/4" from tip to tip. They are Brachypelma Smithi, more commonly known as the Mexican Red Knee tarantula. Just about the most popular of all the tarantulas as pets because they are quite docile and brightly colored when they get older. I haven't figured out what to call them, so for now, they are A, B, C, D, and E.
