It was beautiful weather and so nice to hug people we haven’t seen in two years! We would have liked to stay for a month and see everyone! Some things just have to be documented…. Archive for January, 2009. On January 8, 2009 5 Comments. Christmas morning, in the new wrap Phil gave to us. This new wrap is wonderful. It is just a long piece of woven fabric with directions on how to wear him in all different ways. He can be on my back for 15 minutes now. He likes to be on my front facing out while I use the sewing machine or play the piano. Katahdin in his Bumbo. Grandpa bought him this Pitt basketball jersey, that he has already outgrown....

Notice the large front hedge that included a 5ft tree stump. We took it out this week, and met many thankful neighbors in the process. This is the view from Spicer Avenue, the back street. Monday, June 30, 2014. On a whim (very unlike me) I took the girls to to the 35th Annual Jamesville Balloon Fest! They launch a bunch of hot air balloons into the sky - and it is pretty awesome. I couldn't believe how close they let you get to the action, and what a small space they are able to squeeze all those balloons in! I was surprised at how low-key and uncrowded it felt, plus it was free! Brinkley's Favorite - with the bow. A special treat - they got to stand on the car so I could snap a few photos.

Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Our ward has a Trunk or Treat every year. Darcy dressed up as a Lalaloopsy. But wouldn't wear the wig. Brinkley wanted to be a girl Dracula (Draclia, as she says it). Monday, June 30, 2014. Here's some pictures of the girls for their Acro recitals. This event was a huge money sucker and I was awfully bitter. but seeing them on stage dancing so cute was soooo worth it! Especially since the whole recital was a well-oiled machine. There was no waiting in between numbers, which I found to be a plus considering they were over 2 hours (the girls were in seperate recitals, so we had to attend two that day). And they both did so well! So, it's a photo overload. FUN IN THE SUN.

Tuesday, December 25, 2012. This was our first Christmas EVER that was not in Utah surrounded by family. No, I exaggerate. It was still good. Relaxed and chill. Which we haven't always been able to say. Josh was scheduled to work on Christmas day. But we got lucky. he didn't have to go in! Someone at his job loves him. We spent a nice, slow day opening gifts, playing with them, and eating good food. Christmas Eve. getting ready for Santa! Annual Tim Tam Slams before bed. Blurry Brinks on Christmas Morning.

Saturday, January 12, 2013. While Darcy was napping Brinkley and I built this amazing wood park complete with picnic tables, playground, slides, treehouse and pond. The random items at our park included beds and a marble run. :). I thought it was pretty impressive, it spanned the whole playroom! Thursday, November 1, 2012. Brinkley has this friend, Adella. They love each other. And they are silly together. For a couple months, Adella's mom and I were swapping play dates every week. It was fun! But it fizzled for some reason. Hopefully we can pick it back up. Anyway, one time when Adella was here, I pulled out my camera and got these gems. Sunday, September 29, 2013. Dad and Rebecca Visit - Watkins Glen. I fell in love, love, love with Watkins Glen. I had never been and I was not disappointed! It's this glen near Seneca Lake that has like 19 or something waterfalls throughout it. They have made it hiker friendly, complete with stone steps. A LOT of steps.
