Don't worry: be happy ;0). Wednesday, February 24, 2010. We are moving to a lighthouse you and I. I'll just hold you tight and we'll not let those @#$ ers in. I'd best get another blog in before the month's end, eh? The usual everything yet nothing has been going on in my life. Maybe point form might be the way to address the past few weeks:. Last night, we went to Lizottes in the old King's Theatre in Lambton to watch the one and only Josh Pyke perform. It was just him and his guitar: no band, bells...

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Thursday, June 25, 2009. I won't hestitate no more, no more, I cannot wait. I'm yours. I am writing this blog (very quickly) from Belmont TAFE Library before it shuts. Thank goodness for free TAFE libraries! Dad only has dial-up at his house, and begrudges you every second that is spent there, so I just don't use his computer. And don't I miss it! He's back at school, so life is back to normal for him. The clean-up continues, but I'm getting there. Stay warm and safe! PoppyKen ...

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Thursday, November 12, 2009. You say, "why": don't ask me why. It's been an unsettled few days here. I've lost track of the order of days. I think that it was Tuesday. Then last night, I received a phone call from my NUM at the hospital in Muswellbrook to tell me that one of my workmates, C, had been brought into the hospital by ambulance, and had died. C was 41years young. But the grief here is palpable. And it will continue for the next few weeks at least. It's so, so sad.

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Tuesday, January 05, 2010. Can I have another piece of chocolate cake? Well, it was for me, anyway. Believe it or not, I spent New Years' Eve at home, on my own, watching DVDs! Beloved and Sboy were at entertaining the crowds in Parramatta, and Vboy was staying at a friend's house. So I entertained myself with "Samson and Delilah", "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" and "The Boat that Rocked". Saturday, we went to see "Avatar". What a great movie! And he was right. We...

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Monday, April 12, 2010. Are there any Bloggers out there anymore in this instant-update era of Facebook? It would appear that I missed blogging in March all together. At least that’s another “first” that I can cross off my bucket list. Life has been busy (as usual) in the Blogmuggle household. Lots of time has been spent at work, and a lot of other minutae that is so incredibly (un)interesting that I can’t recall any of it. Most exciting event actually happened in April. My dad...

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Saturday, April 25, 2009. This lovely song is being sung by John Williamson on the TV as I type. I am in Beloved's sister's living roomin Canberra. I'm going to be AWOL for a while as I'm away for a few days, and will be sans computer. The good news is that I'll be in Newcastle for a few days from Tuesday. Lisa, I will be in touch soon so we can organise a get together. Have a lovely weekend: ANZAC Day is just so special. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. I've been everywhere man.

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Thursday, May 28, 2009. Now as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes, I cry. Thank you, Michelle. I have received award an occassional award before, but this one from Michelle, and the accompanying sentiment is just so lovely and from the heart. And such a slack and uncommitted blogger, I am. And very humbled. Like Lisa, I don't tend to "do" awards, but . Well, there you go. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. I rode my bicycle past you window last night. Good evening Bloggers ;0). Poppy K...

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Monday, June 11, 2012. I haven't been here for a long, long while. I'm getting bored with Facebook, and only check in to lurk around. I can't be bothered with the games; they become tedious very, very fast. I have the concentration span of a gnat, it would seem, these days. I suppose it's yet another menopausal side effect. So I guess there's really nothing wrong at all. Maybe I just need to get back into this. Enough for now. I wouldn't want to overdo it now, would I? I think ...

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Tuesday, October 27, 2009. I'm right there with you. It's late, but I'm awake, so. I've been working at the local aged care facility, which is ok. I like the residents. And the staff are ok too. Being 5 minutes away from work is very convenient. We are all well. so that's a good thing. I think I'm a wee bit boring. Facebook is quick and easy, isn't it? Had dinner with friends before going to work on Sunday night. Gay is such a wonderful cook. lamb roast.mmmmmmm. This photo was ...

Don't worry: be happy ;0). Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Riders on a storm. Well, the sky hasn't fallen: I've heard no trumpets, nor the galloping of the horseriders of the apocalypse. Actually, I'm rather ignorant of the finer points of the biblical apocalypse. just tried to remember what I have assimilated over the years. I'm much more familiar with the end of the world, "Buffy-Style" or in accordance with the breaking of the seals in "Supernatural". It's very bloody dusty, though. I haven't heard any...
