A charity set up to assist Wycombe's needy by Dame Frances Dove, founder Headmistress Wycombe Abbey School. Over the last 110 years our operations have changed with the times but always finding unmet local needs and setting about helping local people facing hard times get on with their lives. NEWS FROM CENTRAL AID. Last financial year Apr 2015 to Mar2016. We saved over 4,200 bulky furniture pieces and appliances from the dump. Helped 470 local families. Made 52 grants. Inspected or inpected and repaired 1,300 electrical items. Delivered over 1,600kg of leftover food from Morrisons and a chicken restaurant to homeless accommodation. Around 23% of members were from outside Wycombe town. Bucks County Council grant. We are very grateful for their support. The Princes Centre - Princes Risborough.

Donating furniture Call 01494 443459. Beds, chest of drawers, wardrobes, fridges, freezers, cookers, microwaves, dining tables and chairs, sofas and armchairs are the most requested items by our registered low-income customers. Without your donation we could not assist so many clients. In order to survive we turn stock over in 1-3 weeks to keep our costs low. Our business is low cost furniture to low income/no income clients - it is not resale to support another purpose. WEDNESDAY LATE NIGHT 10AM TO 6PM.
