Sunday, April 24, 2016. New perspectives on my nationality. While it seems there are many people in Mozambique who want to live in the states, I was slightly surprised to find there are a lot of people that are anti-America. And you know what? Monday, April 18, 2016. We got 8 new kids on April 15th! Here they are mixed in with some of the 'old' kids on their first night at the orphanage. Praise God for bringing all of them here safely! Monday, April 18, 2016. We got 8 new kids on April 15th! Here they are mixed in with some of the 'old' kids on their first night at the orphanage. Praise God for bringing all of them here safely! This was taken when our cook was meeting all the new kids - we were all laughing because she greeted each one with a big kiss right on the lips :). Jose and I teaching them how to use forks. We went to the park with the younger kids yesterday, both old and new, and it was so much fun! View my complete profile.

Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Visiting the beach in Pemba! One of the beaches in Pemba! We didn't swim that day because the waves were unusually strong. On another note, you can see my head full of braided extensions lol. The waves were so strong that they were tearing apart those huts right in front of our eyes!
