WHO IS CHARLIE, YOU MAY ASK? Hamburger Charlie, as he affectionately became known, is recognised as one of the genuine trailblazers of the hamburger. In 1885, 15 year old Charlie was selling meatballs at the annual Seymour Fair in Wisconsin using ground ‘hamburg’ steak - a popular item at this time. Sales were slow, so Charlie decided to smash a meatball and some onions between two slices of bread so folks could eat and walk around the fair at the same time. Bringing The Good Times.

Saturday, March 10, 2012. Taste of Sydney 2012. I first visited Taste of Sydney in 2010. And then again in 2011. This is the third year now and it never fails to disappoint. I had done my research days in advance on what each restaurant was serving and highlighted the main ones I would definitely try, because I'm like a Taste of Sydney pro by now hahaha! It was the last girls night before I go away for a month and after an incredibly busy week we found ourselves with no booking and no ideas for a dinner spot.
