Synapse to Synapse: Mighty Mouse Wireless
http://adamsjohn.blogspot.com/2006/07/mighty-mouse-wireless.html
Monday, July 31, 2006. Yet another Apple product I wish I owned. Would say, "Oh, lust.". Posted by John Adams @ 10:04 AM. Thank God for RSS feeds. Sheesh! Hehe Point taken. :). You don't want that mouse. You don't want anything Apple makes. They have the worst customer service ever. Worse than Dell, and they are all in India for crying out loud! Following my thoughts all the way home. Asheville, NC, United States. View my complete profile. This is a Flickr badge showing public photos from adamsjohn.
Fat Guy in a Little Coat
http://gabeadams.blogspot.com/2006/08/theres-only-one-way-to-get-through.html
Fat Guy in a Little Coat. Saturday, August 05, 2006. There's only one way to get through a nine hour day of working with kids- and that's laughter. Fortunately, I'm surrounded by just the people. If my co-worker, Bill, isn't cracking us up, the kids' unique perspectives and sense of humors do the job. Here's a typical day at work. I arrive about 8:58 to find everyone outside. I see a few kids looking out the fence, pointing at this mangy, sickly dog. Oooh man. I wonder if he'd eat us! Bill, amused that t...

Fat Guy in a Little Coat. Friday, June 09, 2006. This past month has been a blur. Let me try to recap. I found a new job. And became good friends with most of the kids. I met that little girl named Abby that I'm constantly mentioning who's stolen my heart with her smile. First weekend with John: We saw an indie artist called Sun Kil Moon who put me to sleep - literally. On the drive back, John and I both agreed we were a little tired of indie shows. The following weekend I shot photos with Lily and jumpe...
Fat Guy in a Little Coat: May 2005
http://gabeadams.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
Fat Guy in a Little Coat. Monday, May 30, 2005. One More Dead Beetle. Fortunately beetles are dumb and just stay in one position for all eternity. This allows you (or Justin in my case) to take a boot and beat the beetle senseless. I can’t describe in words the joy and relief I felt at that moment. The demon beetle was dead and it was about to be scooped into a paper cup and flushed down the toilet. Wee! I love watching unwanted insects get flushed. Posted by binky4487 at 12:48 PM. Fat Guy in a Little Coat: December 2004
http://gabeadams.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Fat Guy in a Little Coat. Thursday, December 30, 2004. The waiting period can be so stressful. When I'm not in control it feels like I'm destined to crash and burn and fail miserably.Yet, as much as I would love to be in complete control, I'm actually thankful I'm not. It's such a relief to be able to leave everything to God and trust Him; to know deep inside that He is taking care of everything. The question "why" is posed in every situation we face. It's so hard to live with blind faith, to know th...
Fat Guy in a Little Coat: Life as an Oregonian
http://gabeadams.blogspot.com/2006/09/life-as-oregonian.html
Fat Guy in a Little Coat. Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Life as an Oregonian. This is long overdue. Once in a blue moon, he's totally serious- at least as serious as Bill is capable of being- and starts spouting off pearls of wisdom, like that time he told a kid, "You're all up in the kool-aid and don't even know the flavor! I left with a lot of random memories, one of which was Ja Quan saying, "What's up, bread? What's up mashed potatoes? Why do you ALWAYS say stuff like that, Mr. Gabe? The Wit of Glory.
Fat Guy in a Little Coat
http://gabeadams.blogspot.com/2006/06/i-have-co-worker-named-bill.html
Fat Guy in a Little Coat. Tuesday, June 13, 2006. I have a co-worker named Bill. He's hilarious. He's an older black guy, probably in his late fifties, yet he says things like, "If I don't dig her, I'll be peeling rubber" and calls the Piggly Wiggly "The Pig" for short. He's like an old gangsta. Talking to Bill goes something like this. Gabriel. THE man. The man of the hour.". Hey Bill, it's a hot one today, isn't it? You're making me sweat! Go play with your friends and stop pestering the staff.". Anoth...
Fat Guy in a Little Coat: February 2005
http://gabeadams.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Fat Guy in a Little Coat. Thursday, February 24, 2005. Korn Member For Christ? From this article by Michelle Malkin. If you're wondering how I was ever a fan of Korn's music, well, we all go through our fazes, right? I was into Limp Bizkit back then too. Point taken? Posted by binky4487 at 5:48 PM. Wednesday, February 23, 2005. People will always let you down, but if we're putting all our hopes and satisfaction in God, He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5). I was a confused little ...

Why Are The Police Outside??
Why Are The Police Outside? The Life and Times of a Mexican Living North of the Border, Up America Way. Tuesday, March 8, 2011. The internet often giveth. But sometimes, just to be fair, it also taketh away. Was making the rounds this afternoon. In case you did not click through, it takes you to a video of Tom Brady, who is "dancing" at the Carnaval in Rio while sporting a rather unfortunate ponytail. It's a ponytail. On a man. And it's not just any man. It's the most important man in Boston. But he look...

Thursday, November 20, 2008. Jeremy Rifkin: Biotech Century. Personally, I am not in favor of altering massive ecosystems for science. There are too many risks involved and the destruction can be a disaster. Gene pools could be depleted, entire ecosystems could be wiped out, and the future of the world could be transformed forever. Sunday, November 16, 2008. Michael Pollan-"An Animal's Place". Pollan made an interesting comparison to race relations and animals rights, and it made sense! I decided to writ...
