Woke up this morning and we had running water, electricity, ac going and all was normal and as it should be on the boat. I like when that happens! Wednesday, June 29, 2011. No Water on the Boat, arrrrggghhhh. Eventually the kids got their breakfast around 10.30am. Aaron was in a hurry today so that he could go play with Ashton. He got through his Math, Reading Skills an...Already t...

Babbly Babble about sailing, kids, family, boatschool, homeschool, faith, etc. Friday, January 23, 2015. One of the things I have learned for example, is that you. Then they see their Papa, who actually said to me a few weeks ago, that the only thing he has in life is T.V. (no shit! So, we are free. Free from obligation anymore. I will always. Justin will begin laying off his workers next week and the Cornish dream of sailing away again will be realized this year. Woohoo:). Labels: old miserable parents.

http://ramblingsbycat.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Babbly Babble about sailing, kids, family, boatschool, homeschool, faith, etc. Friday, October 19, 2012. Costa Rica was awesome! We had the most amazing time. We did more adventure activities in that week than we have done in our entire lives. As I read the literature prior to our horseback tour it made me laugh out loud, "ride through the mountains like John Wayne and, the adventurer you are! We are more than 6 weeks into our school year and it is going great! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I am a stay at ...

Babbly Babble about sailing, kids, family, boatschool, homeschool, faith, etc. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Time for School, oh no! This is going to be the best homeschooling year yet! I have always leaned toward the classical education (Latin centered) but not been in a position to go the whole distance. So, we have always done what we could with what we had. I feel this year we are able to provide the kids with everything I could have wanted. That is an awesome feeling! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://ramblingsbycat.blogspot.com/2013/02/people-are-annoying-god-love-em-people.html
Babbly Babble about sailing, kids, family, boatschool, homeschool, faith, etc. Monday, February 25, 2013. God love em, people are annoying. It has recently occurred to me that the old saying, "God doesn't give what you want but what you need" applies to people as well. It hit me then that I am just supposed to learn from everyone! God deliberately puts these people in our lives for us to learn to love. I mean learn to love because sometimes, lets face it, it is work! Update - prayed for the annoying guy ...

Ramblings by Cat: No Amount of Planning can Help Attitude
http://ramblingsbycat.blogspot.com/2012/08/no-amount-of-planning-can-help-attitude.html
Babbly Babble about sailing, kids, family, boatschool, homeschool, faith, etc. Monday, August 6, 2012. No Amount of Planning can Help Attitude. Why would someone do that? It makes no sense. How odd, stubborn, difficult and rude. Oh boy. What am I in for? I have ordered a book called "Prayers for Catholic Mothers" along with this year's curriculum. I know it was God's divine intervention that drew to me to that book because it now looks like I am going to really need it this year. I am going to have to fi...

Babbly Babble about sailing, kids, family, boatschool, homeschool, faith, etc. Saturday, November 12, 2011. Woo hoo Abi, Aaron and Marky! Abi Aaron and Marky won 2nd place in a home made boat race! They also won the People's Choice Award - might have had something to do with the fact that we had the most supporters there - everyone from the marina! The first boat that sunk was awarded 4 hamburgers! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Woo hoo Abi, Aaron and Marky! View my complete profile. Mystics of the Church.
