Tuesday, August 26, 2014. I'll get back to finish up Oregon later. but in the meantime, these boys started school. I had Porter draw a picture and write "kindergarten" for me last year. I want to see how their handwriting improves year after year, so here he is with his "First grade" photo. That's a picture of him with his red hair. He was more excited about it than he looked.and a little bit nervous. He's very excited to sit by his teacher's desk and he quickly made friends with the kids around him.

It was a very quick, but very fun weekend with these cute kiddos and their Mom and Dad. Brody has some serious soccer skills! He was so cute to watch. And he did GREAT! Here is Kaylie eating her candy necklace we brought for her. I didn't think she would figure out it was candy so quickly! Then we went to watch Chase play his soccer game. He did AWESOME!

Wednesday, April 29, 2015. We Pause This DC Report For An Easter Post. On Friday night before Easter, we colored our eggs - the old fashioned way. With boiling water and food coloring. And some glitter, but I didn't get pictures of the glittering. I was on glitter control! Using a whisk for the little kids was an ingenious Pinterest idea that worked pretty darn well. We are very excited for them. We know that Hawaii has some great Missionaries coming their way. We will miss them SO much but we are thankful for their willingness to serve the Lord and for the example they are setting for our boys.
