Monday, July 6, 2015. Checking out Crescent Ridge Farm. Watching the practice run for Monster Jam. Donuts, chocolate, and cheerios. Our trip out to Second Beach in Rhode Island. Dave surprised me with tickets to Mumford and Sons for my birthday! I was so excited to go, until I caught some type of stomach bug. We ended up having the babysitter come at 9 and only saw some of Mumford and Sons play. It was so much fun though! With the Sanders in town, we've been having lots of fun! Playing at the pool.

Tuesday, September 25, 2012. The beat goes on. It has been way too long since i've been on the blog. a lot has happened - my dad came to live with us while battling stage 4 prostate cancer. he was put on hospice on august 17th and then passed away peacefully in our home on august 21st. it was a very bittersweet moment. I cannot express how grateful i am that he was able to spend his last days with us. naomi still talks about him "sleeping" and i am already sad thinking about the day when she forgets.
