Vita in Vitro: Supermarket (and Other) Food in Korea, Part 2
http://vitainvitro.blogspot.com/2015/06/supermarket-and-other-food-in-korea.html
Supermarket (and Other) Food in Korea, Part 2. Sweet potato ice cream. One of my favorite flavors ever. The ice cream is wrapped in waffle and there is a sweet layer on one side that tastes like caramelized sweet potato purée. Yum. Green tea ice cream. Is my all-time favorite flavor. This one is from Paris Baguette and costs around 1 500 KRW. It is rather watery, but it's not bad. And red bean bread. Once, I saw this Mickey mouse cake. I was over the moon when I found reasonably priced vanilla rooibos.

Vita in Vitro: Outfit: Yellow Flowers by Hangang River
http://vitainvitro.blogspot.com/2015/07/outfit-yellow-flowers-by-hangang-river.html
Outfit: Yellow Flowers by Hangang River. I am really sorry for the break - during that time, I moved from Korea to Sweden and from Sweden to Czech Republic. I finished most of my thesis, popular science article and poster, I've been working hard on securing something productive to do after graduation, working on our start-up, and babysitting our 3 days old puppies. Oh, and I had my laptop fixed, finally! So here I am, back to blogging, at least until my journey to the Philippines in a week.

Vita in Vitro: Ballerina
http://vitainvitro.blogspot.com/2015/06/ballerina.html
Seeing me wearing this, one colleague said I reminded her of a ballerina, and Yi (the photographer for today) said she thought it was a kind of classic style. I suppose what evoked such feelings was the black and white color palette, frilly skirt, simple accessories and my braided updo. Skirt: HM, Paris. Turtleneck: Tally Weijl, Prague. Shoes: off brand, Gangnam station, Seoul. Bag: off brand, Edae, Seoul. June 9, 2015 at 4:49 PM. June 9, 2015 at 8:27 PM. What a cute outfit! June 12, 2015 at 8:17 AM.

Vita in Vitro: Haeinsa Templestay
http://vitainvitro.blogspot.com/2015/06/haeinsa-templestay.html
When I asked my mum what she wanted to see in Korea, the very first thing she said was Haeinsa. And the Tripitaka Koreana. You see, my mum is a tourism expert and culture geek, so for her, Haeinsa was an absolute must-visit place. When I told her there is the possibility to do templestay, she was overjoyed. Once the bus drops you off, you have to walk additional kilometer or two to reach the temple, which is doable, though hard, with luggage. The bells and drums are divided among the things that swim, th...
