DOCK-PLUG – The spill containment system installed to protect drains at loading docks.
http://www.chemigreen.ca/products-dockplug.html
Is an automated multi-deployment spill containment system that is permanently installed in drains near loading docks. The Dock-Plug will automatically activate once a truck moves into the loading dock. Once activated the Dock-Plug seals the drain completely, thus prevents any potential chemicals from entering the drain system should a spill occur during loading and unloading operations. Vehicle sensor detects an approaching truck. Dock Plug controller initiates the inflation of the reservoir bladder.

Sanimax is a fat rending facility. One of the oil tanks overflowed during a power shutdown. Attempts to contain the spill were made using sorbents. Due to the large amount of spilled oil the containment effort yielded partial success. The oil flowed into a storm drain and within minutes reached a nearby river. Costly cleanup operations were required. On the left the WI-Plug status can be seen. St Mary's case study.

The mesh topology used by ChemiGreen enable each drain to communicate with the coordinator using any other available unit on route. This means that a drain can talk either directly to the coordinator or via a repeater. This is done automatically and increases system robustness. Level 1: PAN ID. Each ChemiGreen Install gets a unique PAN ID code. Only units with this code can communicate on the network. St Mary's case study.
