Wednesday, May 11, 2011. The Routine of the Camino. It is true that everyone walks his/her own Camino. The experience is different for everyone. You walk at your own rhythm, setting your own schedule. I have seen fast and slow hikers, and everything in-between. The Camino is what you make of it. I have found that bicyclists on the Camino avoid the steep ascents, by taking detours around the hills. They might log more miles but they certainly don't seem to be getting the aerobic workout that they need!
