The first ionisation energy(now ionisation enthalpy) of carbon atom is 1085kJ/mol.This value is very high .The electronegativity of carbon is 2.5,which is neither too low nor too high.Thus,carbon has no tendency to lose or gain electrons.As a result,it forms bonds only by mutual sharing of electrons and thus forms only covalent bonds. Perfect White Chocolate Mochas. 3 oz brewed espresso coffee. 6 oz milk (I use 1% lactose free). 2 T Ghirardelli White Mocha powder (or slightly more). Dissolve white mocha powder in the espresso coffee in a mug or measuring cup. Add half of the milk to a 15-oz. glass 1/2 full of ice cubes. Add the espresso-white mocha mix to the glass.
