The Wheels are Always Turning: February 2011
http://wheelsarealwaysturning.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
The Wheels are Always Turning. The Ramblings of a mad woman. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Can I just take a minute to rant here? Has anyone shopped on ebay lately? I went shopping on ebay a couple moments ago for some "new" craft stuff. I would like to learn mixed media and one of the ladies at MJF is so sweet. She is going to be teaching us this craft. So first I went to Wally-World to price some things. Ouch! I wonder if there is a craft supply swap or cheap craft supplies online somewhere? View my comp...

The Wheels are Always Turning: May 2011
http://wheelsarealwaysturning.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
The Wheels are Always Turning. The Ramblings of a mad woman. Sunday, May 22, 2011. Bob's been working away in Matthew's new room. It doesn't seem like it has taken as long as Caitie's room. Pics are not so great, but Bob has the walls framed out, electrical ran and insulation started. There's still some junk. Fat man really needs a head. This space is actually going to be Matt's closet. Probably not much longer and Matthew will be moving upstairs. Guess I better get busy on Hallie's room downstairs.

Girl Camping: Vintage Trailers, Ready To Party!
http://girl-camping.blogspot.com/2012/06/vintage-trailers-ready-to-party.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Vintage Trailers, Ready To Party! Let it be known that we love all. Vintage travel trailers, whether they be sitting neglected out in some weeds or preserved in a museum. But we especially love to see the trailers that are someone's darling, and that get dressed up for social occasions. Then, they're transformed from old-RV curiosities into campsite Cinderellas- all dressed up for the ball and ready to be 'received.'. Did someone say 'prom'? Need some instant summer? That awning t...

Girl Camping: Eye Candy on Display
http://girl-camping.blogspot.com/2015/05/eye-candy-on-display.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Eye Candy on Display. I can't help it, and neither can most other Girl Campers I know-. When we settle into a campsite for a few days, we're going to find some way to pretty it up. To make it special. To give it our personalized brand of eye candy. My birdhouse truck holds a full load of M&Ms that always manage to disappear. Cinched with a beaded souvenir belt, a camp blanket lies ready to be used at campfire tire. Simple, sweet, evocative! A chance to test the equipment and the keep-warm skills! It's always so great to see each other again after the holiday season…here we have Miss Mig and Miss Sherry, in a happy reunion. One friend came rolling in with this vintage Winnebavo Brave motorhome- my first to see in per...

Girl Camping: October 2014
http://girl-camping.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 23, 2014. New Addition: 1965 Chief. I've been into the vintage-trailer hobby long enough to know a good buy when one comes along. Which explains why I jumped on this 1965 Chief when it came up for sale. The rehab work was already done, and the price was more than reasonable. All I had to do was hook it up, bring it home, and move my own things into it. The Chief's kitchen is in the front. True to the trends of 1965, the appliances are turquoise, and the cabinetry has blond veneer. What ...

Girl Camping: Unhitch That Trailer, Stay a While
http://girl-camping.blogspot.com/2011/09/unhitch-that-trailer-stay-while.html
Saturday, September 24, 2011. Unhitch That Trailer, Stay a While. There are those who define camping as an exercise in minimalism. Then there are those who don't have the m-word in their vocabulary. Give 'em even a single night's stay, and they'll transform their space into a compressed thematic world of its own. It's fun to go camping with girls who take it over the top and enjoy delighting your senses. But fun to camp with the minimalists, too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Girl Camping on Facebo...

Girl Camping: August 2014
http://girl-camping.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 4, 2014. Easy Disguise for a Luggable Loo. If you have a camper or trailer without a built-in toilet, you may be familiar with the Luggable Loo. It's a 5-gallon bucket, fitted with a toilet seat and disposable liner, and you use it for those 'discreet personal moments' that sometimes occur in the middle of the night. Highly practical, inexpensive, but not something you want to look at all the time inside your trailer. Here's a fast, easy way to disguise it. Links to this post. Girl Camping...
