mohaus: February 2015
https://chereemoore.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 27, 2015. Baby Update: 33 Weeks. I am still hanging in there with this baby. This afternoon I had my weekly OB appointment and Baby Moore passed the biophysical profile with flying colors. However, my amniotic fluid level is back up to 24cm (it was down to 21cm last week. But like I said before, these measurements are not perfect). When all of the roads off the mountain were essentially shut down. I will feel much better when winter is officially over! I think that Jack and Sophie are de...
mohaus: Flying Solo, Part 2
https://chereemoore.blogspot.com/2015/05/flying-solo-part-2.html
Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Flying Solo, Part 2. It's interesting to look back. And see how I handled becoming a new parent when Jack was born. Some things are the same with a second child, and some things are different. We are only 3 weeks in and I have to confess that it's been easier than I thought it would be. 1) With both Jack and Isaac, Daniel was able to take 3 weeks off at the time of their birth. I think in both cases this has helped tremendously with the transition of our growing family. With any ki...
mohaus: A Boat, a Museum and our Valet Parking Experience // Vacation Day 6
https://chereemoore.blogspot.com/2013/09/a-boat-museum-and-our-valet-parking.html
Monday, September 16, 2013. A Boat, a Museum and our Valet Parking Experience / Vacation Day 6. For our final day of vacation, Daniel and I decided we wanted to get out on the water. We considered our options – sailing, kayaking, a dolphin tour, or renting a pontoon boat. When we looked at the prices and time involved we decided that a pontoon rental was a good fit for our family. We also liked that we could invite our friends. To tag along on our little day trip. Is a sand bar out in the harbor that is ...
mohaus: Cloth Diapers
https://chereemoore.blogspot.com/2012/01/cloth-diapers.html
Friday, January 06, 2012. When Daniel and I first learned that we were expecting, one of our primary concerns was how much this kid was going to cost us and how we could combat any of these costs. Since I am currently a SAHM {who sometimes freelances from home} I thought that using cloth diapers would be a great way that I could help save us money. About the time we started to consider CD, I had a friend write a great post. And Young House Love. All of these first-person accounts got me excited. Package ...

Monday, November 28, 2011. Finally starting to feel rested after a five days of visiting family. Don't tell our pediatrician that we traveled with Jack when he was just two weeks old. she told us not to go anywhere for two months! Hello – it's the holidays, did you really think we were going to just sit at home by ourselves? Meeting Great Grandpa and Nana for the first time. Izzy loves cousin Jack. The Voyles Siblings with Izzy and Jack. Thursday we got up semi-early and squeezed in a quick visit with Da...

Life As We Know It: bye-bye Tonsils. bye-bye Strep
http://thestewarts522.blogspot.com/2015/06/bye-bye-tonsils-bye-bye-strep.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. Bye-bye Tonsils. bye-bye Strep. Thankfully, I found a wonderful family doctor, who we all see, and it has been a huge blessing. I could call her office and she would see us all in 1 visit if needed, or call in antibiotics if it was late. She knew when I called it meant the real deal and took us seriously. Spiderman wasn't interested in wearing a hospital gown. Waiting in preop was a bit tough, but we tried to keep him preoccupied. He thought the Alligator Chomping game was hilarious.
Life As We Know It: Izzy-isms
http://thestewarts522.blogspot.com/2015/07/izzy-isms.html
Monday, July 20, 2015. Most kids, including our Levi, don't just make words up if they do not know the name of something. Most kids say something like, "what's-that-called" mid-sentence. Izzy, however, being ever-confident will just improvise words and say whatever sounds like it/or whatever comes to mind. I thought she would have grown out of this quirky habit, but we continue to laugh daily about her funny vocabulary. Lately, I die every time I hear her sing the books of the B-I-B-L-E! She means: May I...
Life As We Know It: Lock Family Reunion 2015
http://thestewarts522.blogspot.com/2015/08/lock-family-reunion-2015.html
Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Lock Family Reunion 2015. This year, my Mom's side of the family, the Lock's were able to enjoy the first week of August together. Not everyone was able to make it, but we still were so happy to see many of our family that live way up North! We were able to enjoy worship at Tintern, followed by a brisk cool swim in the Welland Canal on Sunday. The timing of the excursion and the intensity of the Falls seemed to intimidate the kids, but we all had a good time, none the less!

Tuesday, February 10, 2015. As hard as it seems to believe, we now have a 3 year old big boy! Our little pre-schooler is so much fun and has a goofy, happy little personality. We celebrated his special day over the weekend. What I thought would be a small little party turned out to be 31 people in our new home! With family and friends from church, we had a good crowd to celebrate our fun little guy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I'm thankful I met my husband early in college, married him and have had a won...

Friday, January 16, 2015. When you move as an adult, there is so stinkin' much to do, there is no time to be sad or throw fits (for me at least).but when your parents say it's time to move to a new house (and new state! 500 hundred miles away), AND you have no say in the matter, your world is simply turned upside down and you lose all your friends and comforts of the only home you remember. That's the way I remember it at least, and that isn't what/how I wanted my kids to remember their big move. 1 We lo...

Friday, October 31, 2014. October 2014.the busiest month it seems. October is always such a busy month, and once again we have got to enjoy many fall experiences. I don't recall loving Fall so much when I was growing up - holidays and summertime stand out to me most in my memories - but as I am ah hem, getting older, I love the Fall season more and more each year. I enjoy the colors, the weather, the activities, the pumpkin-spice everything, the candy, and especially pumpkin patch trips! Robert, Izzy and...
