The Write Life: My wish...
http://agerrans.blogspot.com/2015/01/my-wish.html
Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Today marks one year since my Grandma took her last breath and went to sleep until Jesus comes. In some ways it has seemed like a long year, but in other ways it has really flown by. I don't have that chance anymore, at least not in this world. But I absolutely cannot wait to find her again at the second coming and introduce my kids to her, to enjoy the prospect of them getting to know each other for all of eternity. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." ( Rev. 22:20b. Hi, I'm Ali. I...

Monday, January 26, 2015. 30 things I’ve learned in 30 years. I turned 30 yesterday, and thought I'd capture the event with a fun and inspirational blog post. These might be things I've learned as a child, a teen, or in my 20s. I might have learned them in family life, or by living alone, in married life, or by living overseas. But one thing is sure: they're all things I've learned for myself in the past 30 years of my life! Books are magical and once you open one, anything is possible. Travel. Near ...

http://kmpwebtools09.blogspot.com/2009/06/more-reflection-from-week-2okay-25.html
Monday, June 29, 2009. More Reflection from Week 2.5. Thank you for the feedback; there are positive days and not-so-positive ones with technology! Today this is not so much the case. While many believe in the sacredness of important relevant information, and I do as well, one needs to appreciate how information is now acquired. Think of all those college textbooks that were "so important," how often do you open them today? I am traditional and like reading paper and ink. I still bought the book for ...

Wednesday, January 15, 2014. I know my recent blog posts have been focusing on my grandmother, but she was a special person and I am inspired to write when I think of her. Castles In the Air. Reaching for castles in the air, while keeping my feet on the ground. Usually. Monday, December 13, 2010. The Week of the Christmas Concert. Twas the week of the Christmas Concert and all through the school. Not a student was obeying a single school rule. The little ones were fussing, the big ones were rude. The teachers were grumpy, and, yes, fussing, too. The schedules were changing again every minute,. You never quite knew how the others would spin it! The practices, how endless!

I knew that I was in for quite the week rather early in the school year when I discovered that Valentine's Day and the 100th Day of School would fall in the same week. Then add in an enormous (for PH) snowfall, a school-wide skating afternoon, and the week felt like a non-stop party (Also known as draining. Very draining.). It was absolu...

Castles In the Air...: A Crazy Idea...
http://acastleintheair.blogspot.com/2011/12/crazy-idea.html
Castles In the Air. Reaching for castles in the air, while keeping my feet on the ground. Usually. Friday, December 23, 2011. I have an idea. It's a bit overwhelming, a bit crazy, and a whole lot of work, but I want to do it. In my valley (mine! I love directing musicals of all sorts.but am rather sick of the somewhat inane performances that seem to be ubiquitous with elementary schools. So.I thought. Castles In the Air...: April 2011
http://acastleintheair.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Castles In the Air. Reaching for castles in the air, while keeping my feet on the ground. Usually. Thursday, April 21, 2011. Sometimes life happens and it changes the game plan. For me, part this change involves resigning my position at my current school effective the end of this year, moving back home, and hoping/praying/applying for a new job for September! Uncertainty stinks, but so does being isolated and alone. Fortunately, I have the option of going back home to a supportive situation!
