May 24, 2013. Taking baby to the beach and enjoying it. Hand and face wipes. Yes, we put Ella in a hot tub but only after cooling it WAY down. Sometimes you are just too lazy to head to the pool. Especially when the hot tub is right out your back door.). One thing I did learn from Pinterest/blogs was that baby powder easily removes sand from skin. Try it. March 12, 2013. Easy, no-sew, 5 minute headbands. It's time to say hello to spring and goodbye to winter and that means saying goodbye to all Ella's knit hats and hello to cute headbands. Ella is really excited about that. And fortunately for me it is a lot easier (and faster and cheaper) to make a headband than a hat. So fast and easy that a busy mom can make one in 5 minutes in the nursery while their baby plays and I can prove it. Jersey fabric (scrap fabric or old t-shirts). 3-6 mos.: 15" (17x4).

June 3, 2010. Super Easy No Sew Curtains/Valance. For $2.50, an iron, some hem tape (I think that is what it is called), scissors and a measuring tape you can create a cute little valance in a snap. It really is easy, anyone can do it. Next, flip your fabric so the pattern is facing down. Fold up the edge so you have a 1 in. seam and iron it in place. March 21, 2011. Fabric Flower Tutorial - at last. Well awhile back many of you asked for a tutorial on how I make the flower rosettes. I am no expert and these are not original designs but I finally put together a little video on how I was taught to make them. And if you can't stand my voice (or my video) than here are some photos to try and walk you through it. Start with a strip fabric about 2 inches by 18 inches.
