Just another WordPress.com site. July 30, 2012. July 30, 2012. I am loving my last couple of weeks! We had a miracle the other day! We met a sweet boy named ricky who had been super prepared by the Lord. His older brother is a recent convert. We invited him to be baptized and he accepted. We suggested that his brother prepare to baptize him and the spirit was soo strong and awesome! PS you only get one more letter from me as a missionary after this one! Hahahahaha. Have a great week! Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Memorial Day Camping Trip. Since we now have a new (to us) trailer, we decided to give it a trial run by going camping over Memorial Day weekend. The Sunday before our trip, we took a family drive up into the mountains before church (we have 1:00 church) to scout out a good camping spot:. Some of us still in PJs! Monday, May 20, 2013. Nauvoo In a Day. We only had a very short time in Nauvoo, but we made the most of it! We wish we could have stayed there another three days or so because we didn't get to see it all, but we loved the time we had there. Thursday, June 26, 2014. I can't believe Claire is seven! Last year, Claire had a big birthday party with all her friends from school and Mom went just a tad crazy preparing for it, so this year, she only invited two friends so we could simplify things a bit. So since there were only two, Claire and I made the invitations. It was a fun mother-daughter activity. Turned out pretty dang cute! And finally, the big day came! It's cuz I reused the ones I had made for Shaelyn's birthday, per Claire's request.
