The Art of Populating My House. Baby #2 due in September 2012! 1 week since the surgery. September 26, 2012. So, I found this little summary(online) of what we’re waiting for. This is almost word for word what Dr. Vogel told us after the surgery. The length of hospital stay for children with malrotation is usually about a week. This depends on factors like how quickly the intestine recovers from surgery and how soon the child can start eating again. Where are we in this process? THEN WE CAN GO HOME!

The Art of Populating My House. Baby #2 due in September 2012! 2 month check up. November 12, 2012. Henry weighed 9lbs 7oz. So he gained a little over a pound in the month that he’s been home. That does put him in the 5th percentile for weight though. :( its not a problem though, since he basically didn’t gain weight for 1 month. He was 23 1/2″ long, (3″ more than birth height) which puts him in the 75th percentile for height. His head circumference is 38 1/2cm, 30th%. View all posts by cfisherlmt ».

The Art of Populating My House. Baby #2 due in September 2012! Henry’s 4 month check up. January 14, 2013. So, Henry is 12lbs 1 oz(3rd %) and 25.75″(50%) long. His head is 41cm(25%). He’s up 2″ and 3lbs from his 2 month check up. The best part of the visit was Henry wouldn’t stop rolling over on the table. :) And then he got up on his hands and extended his arms almost straight out this time! Showing off for the doctor! She’s going to tell Dr. R that we need answers now because we’re tired of not having any answers. She said she was confused why he wasn’t officially diagnosed with EoE ( Eosinophilic esophagitis.
