Thursday, September 23, 2010. 4 needle to fit the string. 5 papers you will use for the lacing. It is so much easier if you poke holes in the paper with your needle before lacing. That way you have a guideline to go by. Make sure you stay away from getting too close to the edge. Please note: you can add more as you go along if you need to or subtract some if it isn't working out. Here I am gluing the far edges of the papers I will be lacing making them into flaps. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Tutorial - Hand stitching around the page. 1 paper you want to sew around (already inked and distressed the way you want). 4 scissors (cutting the thread). Draw a curvy/squiggly line on one edge of the paper. Draw a slightly more straighter line through the curvy one. Poke holes through the straighter line, using your needle. Dreams are a hope of life. Woes of a "Tuition Teacher". Jul 21st, 2013 at 11:03 PM. What do I want? That's something I'd need to figure out. I refuse being called a "Tuition Teacher" because tutors simply TEACH, with little bonding with their students. I don't quite like to teach actually but I like to share the knowledge. Many think it is similar but it isn't. Teaching is just feeding the students with facts but sharing the knowledge allows discovery. I love it when students go, "OH! That's how it works!
