I have pretty much been bedridden from surgery so I was able to finish this piece in the last 3 weeks. Come in and Stitch-a-little. Saturday, April 25, 2009. New Baby has arrive! I have a new Great Nephew. He weighs a whopping 9lbs 11 ozs and his name is Emil Joseph. He is beautiful. My niece said it was a piece of cake delivering him, but she couldn't get over how big he is. He will be welcome by his big brother Dalton Vance. Dalton didn't want to leave the hospital last night, he wanted to stay with his new baby brother. Dalton is so cute with him. Congrats on the newest addition to your family :).

http://southernstitcher.blogspot.com/2009/08/misfortunes-and-charity-stitching.html
Daily ramblings of a southern cross-stitch addict. Thursday, August 27, 2009. Misfortunes and Charity Stitching. Then a few months ago she found a knot in one of her breasts. When she went to the oncologist, he actually found 2 knots. He did a biopsy. I was scared to death! Twelve apartments were destroyed! A cleaning company picked up ALL of Mom's belongings and cleaned it all! They got rid of all of the smoke and water damage! And am not the clean freak that she is! We almost drove each other crazy!

Lol I have finished the first section of Rose Sampler (above)! I really like doing this piece! I can't wait until the next section comes out! I've also worked on this piece that I'm doing in memory of my son. I started it in 2005. It's. I changed it from present tense to past tense. I already have a place I want to hang it waiting for it! Have you seen this purse!

http://southernstitcher.blogspot.com/2008/06/too-hot-and-dry.html
Daily ramblings of a southern cross-stitch addict. Friday, June 27, 2008. Too Hot and Dry! It's another HOT, humid, dry day here in the south! We desperately need some rain! But it does give me an excuse to stay inside and stitch! But, seriously, pray that we get some rain soon! We had a very dry summer last year, also, and we are losing trees and other plants! I've been staying at home and "hibernating.". I am so thankful! But it set me back some. Sam on it. He is so cute! I also finished the charity pi...

Daily ramblings of a southern cross-stitch addict. Friday, September 4, 2009. Sorry I haven't posted in a week. Things have been pretty slow around here. I've had a bad migraine the last few days. I don't have them as often as I did when I was teaching, but when I do have one, it lasts for days and is extremely bad! They "steal" days of your life! Lol I also have 10 squares I need to mail, but again I'm afraid I won't be able to get back home. DD works until 6:00 so everything is closed by the time s...
