What the Heck is SIOUX-DONYM? I get a lot of questions in regards to the name that I’ve coined for myself. I use it for pretty much every social media account that I have, with the exception of my Facebook. Okay so first: the word “Sioux” is pronounced “Sue.” Yeah, the x is silent. I picked “Sioux” because “Cheyenne” derives from a Sioux word, and the meaning has been given in the literature as “those who speak an alien tongue.”. A pseudonym (pronounced “ sue-doh-. So sioux-donym = pseudonym.
