Bach Cantatas in 2017. It has been a year since I helped establish the City Bach Collective. To continue the liturgical performance of JS Bach cantatas in London. This year I have been involved in two cantatas, in January and February, BWV 72 and 22. Last night’s,. Jesus nahm zu sich die zwölfe. It’s been great fun to start the year involved in a revival of Jonathan Miller’s now-iconic production of Verdi’s Rigoletto. I am singing extra chorus and, in this show, I have been tasked with working the bar (!

The Marriage of Figaro, Grimeborn. A year on from a successful run of performances of La boheme. At the Grimeborn opera festival in Dalston, North London, I am returning with the same company (Opera 24 and Darker Purpose Theatre) for a similar week of Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. Bach cantata 105, City Bach Collective. This evening I am singing in a special event. With the City Bach Collective as part of the 21st St. Anne’s International Bach Festival at St. Mary-at-Hill.
