It is beneficial to discontinue their use for two weeks prior to and two weeks after surgery (always check with your own Physician on what his/her recommendations are). Just came off 4 weeks without Chia, subbed in protein powder for a morning smoothie maintained weight but missed the energy and lack of hunger-so happy to be back on routine :).
