Christian Fiction and More

Christian Fiction and More. Saturday, December 10, 2016. The Last Juror by John Grisham - Some Thoughts. I was waiting for my mother-in-law's game of Kings in the Corner to finish up so that we could visit for a bit at the assisted living home where she resides. I picked a copy of The Last Juror. I spent my middle and high school years in the south in the seventies. The setting, the historical events, the southern mindset, they were all very familiar. The book is a page turner that kept me from g...Anoth...

Christian Fiction and More: July 2016

http://christianfictionandmore.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html

Christian Fiction and More. Sunday, July 31, 2016. What Matters Most by Kellie Coates Gilbert. I eagerly awaited this book’s arrival in the mail as I had so enjoyed Where Rivers Part. A previous book in Gilbert’s Texas Gold series. While I did enjoy this book, had I not known it was by the same author I would never have suspected it. Where Rivers Part. Would appear to have been written by a more seasoned, mature author. Both books dealt with strong themes, What Matters Most. I recommend What Matters Most.

Life Up On The Hill. Life Up On The Hill. Hobby Lobby Gift Card Give Away! March 11, 2015. It’s give away time! Yes you read that correctly! This past Monday, Hobby Lobby opened a new store in our town. This is wonderful news, because the closest store was at least a 45 minute drive to Louisville. Now, we can just drive 15 minutes and we’re there! I am so excited! It is one of my favorite stores and to celebrate it’s grand opening, I think we deserve a give away. This is. One entry per person, please.
