Unbeknown to me we left without an inverter that will actually run the thermomix! A couple of weeks in the craving for something yummy and sweet was getting the better of us and a 1000 watt inverter was ordered and sent to us on the East Coast of Tasmania. 1 1/2 cups dates (I use dried dates quite succussfully).

A couple of years ago I came to the realisation that breakfast cereals are a marketing, big business gimmick that has become very successful and very unhealthy! Come on … real food doesn’t come out of plastic packaging and boxes with use by dates longer than the age of some of my kids! What do we eat for breakfast? A month or so ago I found the answer – CHIA seeds! Add a little honey to taste.
