With some of the better macro (close-up) lenses, I also like looking at objects a lot closer than typical. I've also noticed that I tend to like using the macro settings with flowers for maximum impact. There is a certain serenity that comes across when I discover something new while reviewing my shots for the day.

I still use my Minolta XTsi 35 mm camera occasionally, as well as a Hasselblad 500c medium format camera. When I shoot film, it is often with Fuji Velvia slide and Kodak Ultra slide film, typically at 50-100 ASA. I am experimenting with JAlbum. For the image galleries. Feel free to provide feedback on what you like or hate about the interface.
