June 29, 2012. It’s been over a year since I last smoked a Nub brand cigar so I was very excited to revisit this one. And this was a great, mild, morning cigar. This little Nub lasted just over two hours and never needed relit, despite the fact that I took a few short breaks to go inside and I was often more focused on my cup of espresso and my book than I was the cigar. 5 Vegas Cask Strength II (Toro) and Salvatore Principe 2007 Running with the Bulls Cabernet Sauvignon. March 30, 2012. The 5 Vegas Cask Strength and Salvatore Cabernet went perfectly together and this combo was a great way to follow up our beef-roast dinner. The full-bodied, slightly spicy cigar complemented the fruit and chocolate flavors of the wine nicely. A small slice of chocolate cake put this over the top.
