Angela finishing Vancouver Marathon in 2016. Angela ran her first marathon at the age of 40 in Victoria, BC. She was living in Cobble Hill (near Shawnigan Lake) at the time, that was in 1996. The following year she traveled to Prague and ran a 3:30 marathon. Now she was hooked and entered the Victoria marathon for the second time in 1998 (still maintaining a 3:32 time).
