Thoughts from Second Street: O Canada!
http://thoughtsfromsecondstreet.blogspot.com/2009/02/o-canada.html
Thoughts from Second Street. Just who I am.what I think.that sort of thing. Thursday, February 26, 2009. Of all the things I'll miss about Canada. Canadian Currency (specifically loonies and toonies). Tim Hortons' chili with country bun. Learning French from shampoo bottles/cereal boxes/everything. Tire, Real Canadian. Holidays that, according to my calendar, are only Canadian. Labour Day ("Labour" spelled with a "u"). Thanksgiving Day (in the thankful month). Small towns with 30 people, not 30 000 people.

Thoughts from Second Street: November 2008
http://thoughtsfromsecondstreet.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thoughts from Second Street. Just who I am.what I think.that sort of thing. Friday, November 28, 2008. I've started typing a couple things in this vast, blank screen before me. Behold, a record of what's transpired.for your viewing pleasure:. I come to the conclusion that I am not having a very creative day when it comes to words. Can you try only once again, if your first stab at the day doesn't work out? Or are you allowed two additional tries? And what about the timing of your restarts? Any insights o...

Thoughts from Second Street: Seriously?!
http://thoughtsfromsecondstreet.blogspot.com/2009/02/seriously.html
Thoughts from Second Street. Just who I am.what I think.that sort of thing. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. 8220;I defile my tongue with sub-par coffee once a year because maybe, just maybe, I’ll win…another sup-par coffee? 8221; - Nathan. All I can say is, “seriously? 8221; Does Tim Horton not send any winning cups to Manitoba? I won every time when I lived in Saskatchewan! And I hear someone in BC is on a winning streak…but Manitoba? I’m beginning to feel like my. Tongue is being defiled as well…. Trevor...

Thoughts from Second Street: July 2008
http://thoughtsfromsecondstreet.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Thoughts from Second Street. Just who I am.what I think.that sort of thing. Sunday, July 27, 2008. So Nathan has been gone, speaking at camp, for four days now. My first day alone was: Wonderful.I felt so productive and motivated.I got alot done and had a great time doing it without distractions! My second day alone was: Horrible! I was completely out of it all day and wishing that I could just sleep the day away.nothing to do with being alone, but being alone didn't help it. I then spent some time outsi...

extending the Kingdom: September 2013
http://extendingthekingdom.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
The Kingdom of God is a dance. Jesus invites us to partake in this dance. Not as the one who leads but as the one who follows his steps and moves. Here I will write about my life.about how I dance (and often stumble) with Jesus. Friday, September 20, 2013. To reach a postmodern world recover tradition and liturgy? James K A Smith, Who’s Afraid of Postmodernism? Talking Derrida, Lyotard and Foucault to church. Is there any evidence that recovering tradition is a powerful way to reach the postmodern world?
