Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. Try, try again. This is an image rich post! The first is the book I’ll be using and the color choices I have at hand. Now a close up of that swatch. Images include my inspiration, the colors I had to choose from, and the first few sit down sessions… what resulted. Of course, now I need to find my size 9 needles that aren’t 16 inches in length. Oh well. February 12, 2014. Laquo; Previous Post. Next Post ».

Knitting Since Christmas | Twenty Minute Knitting
https://20minuteknitting.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/knitting-since-christmas
Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. I went out with a girlfriend on Sunday… Very cool. I think I knit for about twenty minutes… mostly we gabbed. This is after one or two minutes… “Oh! I forgot…” then I needed to explain to girlfriend what I was doing. Hey, it’s been about a month. I almost have a sweater (for a little one). That’s worth twenty minutes on average a day. Yes I said it… I wanted to do something else. Silly really. January 1, 2014.

Found it! | Twenty Minute Knitting
https://20minuteknitting.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/found-it
Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. I found the inspiration sweater! That meant I could finish the bottom and start on the sleeves. Strangely enough, even though these are larger needles, a loftier yarn, and I have more stitches on the body… it’s coming out about the same size. Hmmm… Guess he’ll wear it in January! Here’s the finished bottom on Christmas. January 1, 2014. Laquo; Previous Post. Next Post ». Leave a Reply x. Enter your comment here.

The catch up post | Twenty Minute Knitting
https://20minuteknitting.wordpress.com/2013/12/06/the-catch-up-post
Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. The catch up post. Sure, I can find 20 minutes (on average) to knit each day. It does not mean I can also blog about it that day. Here’s a catch up post! Sitting on top of inspiration sweater. Monday 12/2 after two bouts of tinking! So this is at approx 80-90 minutes (plus frustration) over the weekend. December 6, 2013. Laquo; Previous Post. Next Post ». Leave a Reply x. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

I think I can – OOPS! | Twenty Minute Knitting
https://20minuteknitting.wordpress.com/2013/12/19/i-think-i-can-oops
Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. I think I can – OOPS! This means I’m averaging three rows in 20 minutes. Not that much! However, once I’ve gotten the mistakes out of my system, loaded Flickr on my iPhone, made a few more posts… etc. This should smooth out. I’ll be golden by the time this little sweater is done. Image is at approximately the two hour mark. This was a draft in my Vision of Valda blog. Right? Got to stop blogging when I’m TOO TIRED!

Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. So last Saturday 12/14 I had a little longer than twenty minutes to knit. That’s probably a good thing because so far this week there has not been a lot of knitting…. There’s been CLEANING because of mold. Yup. MOLD! No, not black mold… so maybe it was mildew – but YECH! Clorox bleach to the rescue (and breaks). 12/16 23 minutes before midnight. 12/17 8 minutes after midnight. December 19, 2013. Laquo; Previous Post.

Finished? | Twenty Minute Knitting
https://20minuteknitting.wordpress.com/2014/01/26/finished
Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. So, here’s another catch up post. It’s sad though. I had a lot of time to knit last week (thanks to Aunt Patty and Uncle Richard). That’s not the sad part. I finished the sweater. It did not fit. Nope. He’s grown. Oh well. The good (or happy) part is that I can find twenty minutes a day to craft. Why say craft instead of knitting? Because I was also crocheting! Now to wash, block, and think of who needs this sweater.

Where can you knit? | Twenty Minute Knitting
https://20minuteknitting.wordpress.com/2013/12/06/where-can-you-knit
Carve out time, it's worth it. Janene McMahan (WP Site). UAF CTC Web Design Class. Where can you knit? Here’s the knitting after Wed night’s visit to Dad (10-12 minutes). Wednesday – twenty minutes at the Pioneer Home while visiting my Dad. I didn’t take a photo of the knitting until Thursday (before I started knitting at a local wool shoppe). I’m getting close to the part where I have to split off the sleeves! What’s that mean? For the knitters out there, you know… But for everyone else:. Leave a Reply x.
